This is our 2nd year having the honor to participate in the Edison Company Picnic! Annually, Edison sets up a company picnic for all their employees at the Prado Regional Park in Chino. They have small businesses from all around setup booths to provide amazing food and fun services for their employees. We were giving out free Henna Tattoos all day. Eventually there was a line that formed once people got word of our booth lol! It’s always fun getting out in the fresh air and participating in fun events and getting our name out there! Thank you again!
Participating in the Wedding Expo was a fantastic way to meet new people in the industry and to get a little brand exposure for ourselves as well! We had catalogs of some of our henna tattoo designs on display, along with a slideshow of some of our work playing on the ipad. We gave out henna cones with the salons info attached to expo-goers as a way to remember us. Having Hershey’s chocolates was a big hit as well. Other venders booths were great to visit as well and the after party was so much fun!
Having set up a booth offering FREE EYEBROW THREADING or FREE HENNA TATTOO at the festival was a big hit! We ended up having to create a wait list! Poor Hema, our Senior Threading Tech as well as our Henna artist, was busy from the beginning till the end! We had a blast visiting the different booths, eating donuts from the other venders, and being outside for the day among the crowd was a welcomed change.
We love getting into the holiday spirit and it’s safe to say Christmas is our favorite time of year! From playing Christmas songs, decorating, getting gifts for our loved ones, to putting up Christmas lights in the cold outside, we love Christmas! There’s nothing better than the smell of pine from a fresh Christmas tree and eggnog in our cups. You can always expect us the be extra jolly during the holiday season! It feels like it was only yesterday! A bit nerve wrecking, yet exciting, and I can attest that we were a bit anxious. Food platters were ready, red carpet: laid. The drinks definitely helped take the edge off. The ribbon cutting ceremony, where we figuratively were opening business for the first time, really stated the gravity of the situation. After giving a speech, Hema and I were able to enjoy the sandwiches and cakes, along with the champagne and wine with our guest from the Upland Chamber! We were also in the newspaper!! Thank you to everyone for your support!
